1997 Yamaha Waverunner- water coming into hull and dont know how

So i have a 1997 Yamaha waverunner 760 and has been a great machine so far, but the last two times i have taken it out it seems to be taking on water after about 30min-1 hour of driving. The water level inside gets about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way up the battery. There are no visible cracks in the fiberglass on the top or bottom. Could something have come loose inside that is allowing water to build up? Please help!

I had the same problem on my 1996 Yamaha WaveRaider 1100. On my 1100 there is a trim cable that runs under the battery box and storage compartment and through a plastic ring in ylthe back of the ski. I removed the small storage box in the rear and tightened the plastic ring. Solved my problem, but im not familure with that ski design.

Here is a pic of the back compartment. I can't see anything that looks like it might be leaking. I don't see a storage compartment to remove.20180826_103204.jpg

You need to try and determine is water coming in with the engine running, or coming in just when floating.

Put it in the water, on the trailer. Leave it sit for a while with the seat off and see if you can see any water coming in any where. Then, while still strapped down on the trailer, run it with the seat off. Look for leaks.

You can also fill it with water at home (not too much though) and lay under it, looking for water to come out.
