1997 Yamaha Waverunner- water coming into hull and dont know how

So i have a 1997 Yamaha waverunner 760 and has been a great machine so far, but the last two times i have taken it out it seems to be taking on water after about 30min-1 hour of driving. The water level inside gets about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way up the battery. There are no visible cracks in the fiberglass on the top or bottom. Could something have come loose inside that is allowing water to build up? Please help!

I had the same problem on my 1996 Yamaha WaveRaider 1100. On my 1100 there is a trim cable that runs under the battery box and storage compartment and through a plastic ring in ylthe back of the ski. I removed the small storage box in the rear and tightened the plastic ring. Solved my problem, but im not familure with that ski design.
