Carb Upgrade: SBN44 vs. 42mm Sudco

Looking to upgrade the carb on my 93 550sx. Already has a Coffmans half pipe, RAD flywheel, pump mods, etc. I plan on milling the head a bit but also want to upgrade the carb. I would like to run a 42mm Keihin for ease of installation but am having a hard time finding one. Should I just look at finding a SBN44?? Pros and cons of one versus the other? Had a Sudco blue and sold it as I thought I was not going to ride anymore but now Im getting back into it, kicking myself for selling off my parts stash

Never, ever, sell your stash. It's your stash for a reason.

After having a keihin for 3 years and never running right, I switched to the sbn. It immediately made a huge difference in ease of starting, tuning, and power. Not to mention the rebuild kits are waaaaaaay cheaper than the oem keihin. I say save the headache and find an sbn.

Depending on how soon you need it, finding a used one in the classifieds would def be cheaper than a brand new one.
