    Swapping in a 750

How hard is it to swap in a 750 in a 650sx hull vs a JS550?
I am thinking of ping up a standup.

I have a 95 Kawasaki 750 SS. It's in pretty good shape. Just a little faded but it bounced off a rock last year and put a small hole in the hull. It' a second jet ski so it doesn't get a lot of use. I thought of picking up something else and using the engine in a standup.

I have seen a couple hulls come of for sale recently and wasn't sure what would be a better starting point.

750 in 650 hull is a direct swap. Putting it in a 550 hull takes some extra parts and money.

Insanely easy. The engine case and bedplate dimensions are exactly the same. I have a short build thread in the individual builds section about my 650sx/750 dual carb. When properly set up, that's about the best ski for the money you can get. I sold mine for $2400 at the end of summer, and my brother just sold his stock 95 SN SJ for $3k. Without question I had more fun on the 650sx/750 for the dollars spent. My ski probably had about $1200-1500 in it.

My son's going to miss his jet ski! I guess I will have to find him something else first.
