2001 Seadoo GTX hull filling up with water

Hey guys! My 2001 seadoo GTX is filling up with water while sitting in water, not running, I filled the hull up with some water and water was coming out of the bottom, black think on the bottom of the hull. I have taken a picture, is it normal for the water to come out there? I didnít see it coming from anywhere else. What was weird is one time, it did not fill up with water, but now as soon as I put the seadoo in water, it fills up fast. Any help would be appreciated. E82E820B-84D1-4F67-935A-DFD6F96C5A1E.jpeg

Take the grey plastic pto cover off from behind the engine. You need to inspect the carbon ring.

You need to pull your pump and drive shaft and pick up a carbon ring kit and you can change it out pretty easily.
