    Impeller removal

I see a removal tool on Ebay for 10$
    https://m.ebay.com/itm/Solas-Impelle...e665%7Ciid%3A1

    I also se a wrench for 18$
    https://m.ebay.com/itm/SOLAS-IMPELLE...78a6%7Ciid%3A1

Either of those right? Secondly how do I lock drive in place? In a kawi set up I put soft rope in the rear cylinder or hold drive with a pipe wrench and you the removal too to break imp free. What's write method for the shark?

    Re: Impeller removal

Not even close to the same with this ski. 6 bolts takes the pump off. Trim rod, steering cable, and the 4 17mm bolts from the steering nozzle through the wear ring. Next, take the tail cone off which is the one allen head screw and the tail cone unscrews. BE CAREFULL with the tail cone. They are made of now 20+ year old plastic that will shatter if you breath on it wrong. I've done this. Oh yeah good look sourcing that cone. This should expose a giant flat edge on the impeller shaft. Your going to put a wrench on this flat part of the shaft and use the SPLINED impeller removal tool and an impact gun to zip off the impeller.

You should now be able to change your impeller.

    Re: Impeller removal

The eBay tool is the one I used to remove the impeller from my Daytona 1000. I just used a regular wrench and this tool to remove my impeller.
