    1996 wave blaster 2 issues , bogging down at WOT

    i could use a little incite with my ski , ran great most of the day , then started to bog down at WOT . took it home , disconnected the battery and put a new set of plugs in it . fired it off and got my top end back , went out today , ran great most of the day , then the same thing ,,, cutting out at WOT . had a new set of plugs with me .. changed plugs , went out , the same , no WOT . disconnected the battery . kinda ran good for the first minute . then , bogged down at WOT . any body run across this ?

    Can you clarify what WOT stands for? Forgive my ignorance.

    It sounds like you boggin problem happens after the ski has run for a bit, but then after sitting and trying again, say, the next day, it would run again but then eventually without touching spark plugs or battery, would you say that is correct?

    What I'm getting at is that it may not be the spark plugs

    Could be the Thermocouple triggering the Rev Limiter or the Stator is bad(works fine cold but fails when warm).

    Remove the Thermocouple from the Cylinder Head and tie it off.

    If Stator is needed, buy OEM not Made in China junk.

    WOT = Wide Open Throttle
