Question about riding with a child

Do you put the child in front or behind you?
I can think of pros and cons of each.

Any other safety tips for riding a jet ski with a child aboard?

    Thanks!

Re: Question about riding with a child

We always rode our little guy (now 20) on the dirtbikes, ATV's, and jet skis in front of us with arms on each side. Just feels safer.

Re: Question about riding with a child

It is too hard for them to hold the handle bars if they are behind you!!!!! They should have their hands on the handles, learning how to "steer" even if you are actually controlling it.
2, 1998 TS 770 L, restored and running great. (Except for the one with engine that SBT put the WRONG crankshaft bearing into and is now sitting as I collect repair parts)

Cool, thanks for the replies. In front it is!
I like the idea of having him hold the handles, for safety and to learn how to steer.
