Hooker 10/16 vs 9/15 for stock 701 SJ & Blaster

I have a stock '94 SJ and '95 Blaster that could use new impellers.
Looks like the Hooker is the way to go. I was thinking the 9/15 would be the one I would need. Well I just talked with Impros today to confirm. They recommend the 10/16 over the 9/15? I was surprised and they said that is what they are currently recommending for stock up through limited setups.
Anyone have some recent experience running with either.
    Thanks for the opinions.

I run the 9/15 on a stock 701 dual carb and it's great. Lots of low end and more top end then I'll ever need

Then what exactly do they recommend the 9/15 for if it isn't for stock setups? I'd run the 9/15, if its not enough send it out for re-pitch.
'90 Superjet: ported 760, dual 44's, B pipe, ADA head 190psi, TDR waterbox, hooker 10-16, sponsons. Wife's ride
'94 Suuuperjet: 84mm 61x, ported, protec pipe, H2o designs waterbox, Newmiller head 175psi w/girdle, protec ride plate, Protec mod'd cdi, UMI grate, RN pole -4", rev footholds, solas prop, sweet green turf+wrap.
'95 Raider 701: Fiberglass not SMC, Hydrotrailer hitch, ugly purple and yellow everywhere.
