    S4 Fuel tank plumbing

I recently got a S4 with a 1100 conversion, the fuel lines were connected in a way that there is no breather line, so the return whent into the top of the tank and the other two "pick-up" lines are looped into the inlet side of the carbs. should there be a vent line? One pick up would be my inlet and the other "pick-up"would then be my return with a vent line as my third line with a one way check valve?
Or should I leave it as it was? just doesn't seem right the way it is now.

hydrospace fuel tank check valve is located on the fuel filler hose . The 2 inch rubber hose that connects the gas tank to the gas cap

Jimmy is correct on this. I bought a new one for mine from JUST in Austria. Weber also has them but they are more expensive.

Thx I found that later to! So what or how should I use the 3 lines out of the tank?

Depends on what carbs you have. If using the stock carbs you’ll need two feed and one return. With SBN 44 or 46 you’ll need to add a feed line.

3 feed lines to the carbs. You can “T” the returns all into one line. So 3 feeds 1 return.

One more question ( for now ) can I remove that or does it have a specific purpose. The hose on the left has what seems to be a coupler on it and is lying loose

Trace it back to see where it goes. If it hooks up to nothing then yes you can remove it. That block is your water in from the pump and those two half inch lines should be feeding your engine through the exhaust manifold.

That is actually the water inlet manifold from the pump, from there it goes to the exhaust manifold.

that silver block can not be eliminated .it has 2 o rings under it and goes directly to the pump. that is where water comes in from the pump to cool the motor and exhaust .it is one of many great things about the hydro hull . a water manifold with multiple outlets to run water to any where you need .

That is what I said. He is talking about the hose next to the inlet block that is capped off.
