XL1200 1999, Do u think this seizure is possible?

Hey guys i just picked up this ski pictured the bloke i bought it from had semi dismantled it and took a picture of the bendix thru the starter motor hole and there were a few missing teeth, the motor is locked up, do u think its possible for those teeth to have gotten into the flywheel and is binding the stator and flywheel?

I ruin one piston but it was the only way of salvaging the cylinder and crank, crank turns over but front and middle piston and little end bearings are seized i'm about to press the pins out of the pistons i really hope i can salvage the crank and that the rods little end will only need a hone fingers crossed

Oldmate that i bought the jetski off last night insist the water entry was from him not being able to flush the motor on the last run, i politely told him the probable cause would have been uneven cylinder head and or warpage of the cylinder headplus incorrect torque of the head bolts

the last owner had carried out the new top end including spending AUD$700 on a new No:3 cylinder and replacing all 3 pistons

it had 5 hours work on the new top end

once i get the piston pins out and look at the little end rod section i will see if its worthy removing the entire motor, i know pulling the lot out and flushing the whole lot in petrol is the best way but i am between moving houses and i have a lot of stuff to move once we get the new house i dont need the drama of adding another 150kg motor and all its bits to the move

I have made the decision this whole engine is coming out i am purchasing a 6 ton shop press this afternoon to remove those pistons, yesterday i tried removing the front No:1 piston using a 17mm bolt which has a head diameter of 21mm the piston pin is 22mm diameter so a perfect fit i put the impact gun on the bolt and only managed to move the piston pin 1mm i think when the motor hydro locked the No:1 No:2 piston pins bent plus the salt water intrusion rusted the bearings

i just called my crankshaft specialist its going to cost bare minimum AUD$300 that's around USD$220 to disassemble and reassemble the crankshaft i am just hopping its not a genuine non rebuildable crankshaft because they charge AUD$150 per web journal machining to turn it into a rebuildable OEM yamaha crankshaft

what happens next i will remove engine mounting bolt and hook up the engine hoist and pull the motor out, once i split the cases that crankshaft is getting a good bath and blow with the compressor to clean all the bearings to minimize the rebuild cost
