Waveraider trim system on 144mm pump

Hi, I have an old waveraider with a Yamaha qsts trim system. I'm thinking of installing the stock Yamaha qsts trim system on another ski with a 144mm pump. Can the trim system and nozzle exit assembly (specifically the metal ring that moves the exit nozzle up and down and the nozzle itself) from a waveraider work on a pre 07 superjet 144 pump? I saw a pic of one installed on a waveblaster some where. This ski wont be used for freestyle so a performance trim system is not necessary. I also like how the nozzle can be tiled downwards and upwards with the stock trim system.

Yes, the Raider exit nozzle assembly will fit your SJ 144mm pump. (Just install the complete etxit reduction nozzle with trim ring, and steer nozzle from the raider).

The cable system is different. You will have to get a trim lever, a trim cable, and then rig a mount for the cable.

Do some searching on CATS. This is cheap *** trim systems.

Perfect. Regarding the handle bar controls, I was thinking of using the stock waveraider twist grip and the stock control parts under the hood to control the trim level. I just need to get another steering cable (almost the right length for this setup)and modify the handle bar end of the cable to mount it on the trim setup.

I suppose you could make the trim grip work. Most people use a lever.
