Re: 650 factory pipe in 550/750 conversion fitment?

im using a rhaas plate with the 750 coupler so the engine is farther back than stock location. if you have he sx hull with the sx driveshaft mounting he ebox doesnt become an issue but in the js pump setup, mounting the ebox gets tricky with the engine farther back. however, the westcoast pipe i extended 3 inches and made it larger diameter to fits pretty decent. ive also cut the end of the pipe and welded it back on to an angle so it fits the waterbox better and ditched the stock beefy, hard to manuver clamp for some heavy duty clamps from a diesel shop. im sure the engine being an inch or so farther back makes it a little easier, but you cant mount the engine in the rear slot with the rhaas pump kit. i was parked right beside the rhaas ski on the beach at the daytona free ride this year. he has a sj 650 chamber factory pipe in his ski and he said it fits better than the 650 kawi chamber he replaced it with.
