Is this the correct white pipe? I assumed they didnít have a flat spot at all.

Measure the exhaust side circle diameter and let me know. It looks like the white one. They all have flat spot. From what I can see it's the correct one, later black pipe says warning hot on it this one isn't that's a good sign,

If diameter is 65mm you are good to go

Iíll measure when I get it, itís on itís way.

Also after inspecting the crank. It seems to be perfect. All bearings are in really good shape, everything feels tight and smooth. Do I need to replace it? Does everyone just replace them all the time? Seems like this would be expensive rebuilding this every hundred hours if so

Recieved today. Looks good. So Iíll just take a porting burr to the inside of the manifold to open it to 65 and blend it in a bit.

Also have a R&d power plenum on the way. With these mods should I still be fine with the 2.0 needle and seat? Getting ready to order them. Should I bump it to 2.3? Any advice on where to start with the jetting?

2.3 90gr silver spring as for jettings I'll need to see what I had been using in a similar setup. I've been using novis 48s and buckshot 47s for over a year now. Mikunis are sitting as spare just in case

    Re: 2000 rx problems

2.0 N/S will flow more than enough fuel for this set up.As long as your pop off is below 21psi.
I use 2.0 N/S and black spring with highs 167.5 closed,95 lows open 1.5 turns,87.5 if pumps are used
I have had at least 4 failures from using those R&D heads, they seem to have hot spots in them I dont like them at all.
The better and safer option is to machine your existing head down and use a gasket, after all how many times will you change domes ??
You could have your PTO machined down to the diameter of the coupler, this works well and gives good low/mid range power
Install a lightened or aluminum flywheel, this helps as well
Use a stock prop machined out on the outer edges then an interference fit with the pump liner, revs should be 7140-7200 with a good prop and white pipe pitched correctly
These white pipes will spin 7400 no problem if you re pitch to suit and the engine feels like a singer sewing machine................
