Porting, that is how these are. Can you post a pic of the exhaust that came with the motor, I would be interested to see it, for curiosity sake.

I had a pipe like this once but the center had been extended 2"
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Yes, I remember that ski well. Very sweet.

From memory, the manifold to head pipe opening diameter was small like a Kawi 440 but the expansion chamber was a bit larger than my Coffman's pipe.

Interesting, the head pipe looks to be a mirrored image of the EX2650 650/750 pipe.

It does, I think this one had a 2 bolt attachment.

Ooops meant the divergent section of the pipe. PJS logo and mounting boss are just perfectly reversed. And yea then a 2 bolt head pipe. I wonder if that's just a normal 550 piece. Interesting. I wonder if the convergent section alters the power band? because the EX2650's peak power is like 67-6800 rpm.

Not sure which side is considered the Converging or Diverging section but I believe the first half of the pipe with the mounting boss is an actual EX2650 if that's what you're saying

Yep that's what I meant. Divergent = section where pipe gets bigger. Convergent = section where pipe gets smaller.
