Yamaha 1100 Blaster- how fast do you go through gas?

I'm looking into converting my waveblaster with an 1100 from a Waveraider. I've been weighing the pros and cons of doing this project and I haven't considered how fast these go through fuel. For those of you who did this conversion how fast do you go through fuel?

I'm aware there are different factors that affect fuel consumption. I just want to know the general fuel consumption rate for when these are tuned right.

    Thank you!

Full throttle racing, about 25-30 minutes (2motos) per tank. Cruising, jumping, maybe 35-40 minutes. But you don't want to run it empty because you can lean out a cylinder and fry it.
In case you didn't know already, besides the increase in power, the conversion enhances handling as well, due to the inceased weight.
    Go for it.
RACING IS A GOOD EXCUSE FOR MORE TIME ON THE WATER.

I was wondering the same thing since I'm going to be doing a 'Blaster triple swap. I currently have a 1100 Yamaha triple out of a Wave Raider 1100, but I'm contemplating a 1200 Yamaha triple for more power. The factory Yamaha manual says the 1100cc engine consumes 12.2 gallons per hour at WOT and the 1200cc consumes 14 gallons per hour at WOT. I've read that the 1200's with the 44mm Mikunis really suck down fuel, but I was curious if it was that much more noticeable than a 1100cc with 38mm Mikunis.

Can anyone suggest a thread with complete build instructions for a 1100 or 1200 swap?

Good question. I will gladly outline that for you. I'm going to gather all of my notes and post it tomorrow morning.

First off, from what I've gathered, here's some of what you'll need for a 1200 or 1100 Yamaha triple in a 'Blaster:

-ADA or Extreme Throttle motor mounts for the conversion
-Yamaha Raider 1100 water box (left side, not the right side one)
-Patch the stock 'Blaster exhaust exit hole and add a rear, right side exhaust hole.
-A 4" or 5" hole will need to be cut on the wall where the stock 'Blaster E-box mounts for the end of the 1100/1200 pipe to pass through.
-The couplers from the 1100/1200 engine and midshaft will need to be used for the swap (they thread on, just make sure the engine coupler stays on the crank and the midshaft coupler goes on the midshaft).
-new prop (15/23 or 16/23 from what I've read if using the stock 144mm pump housing)
-Cut the foam out of the rear section of the machine (this is the most difficult, time consuming, and messy part everyone says).
-The 1100cc Wave Raider engine is the most simple swap because all the electronics are mounted on the engine and it drops right in without having to mount the E-box, like the 1200cc would require. The other two plugs you'll need go right into the stock Waveblaster electronic controls on the handlebars.

There's still more info that I'm missing I'm sure, but this will be a good start for you at least.
