1989 650sx cylinder cover and cylinder to lower bolts question

I am about to start reassembling this motor and was looking for some replacement acorn nuts to swap some that are really chewed up. I was thinking that normal style(non-domed or acorn) nylock or nylon insert nuts would hold better under vibration. Any reason not to? Thanks much

No reason I can think not too

Watch the chinese Stainless Steel though, sometimes the nickel is a little low percentage and it will rust

also technically nylocks arent supposed to be reused according to some manufactures but i and im sure many others have reused the same one for years with no problem

    Good Luck!!
