    Worth having crank refurbished?

I Have a crankshaft out of a js650 (Kawasaki x2) with a blown lower connecting rod bearing. I was wondering if it would be worth my $$$ to have it replaced by a local mahine shop along with the 4 cranks bearings. Or if I should just buy another crank off of ebay?

Having it rebuilt by a quality rebuilder will be much more reliable than buying any used crank, from an unknown person, in unknown condition.
