Thanks man I've been waiting a long time to get it on the water. Rode for another two hours today no problems. Only thing is the fuel gauge is reading low fuel when I've got about half tank.
Only put 4 gallons through it and it's 4 hours deep on my gauge!

What's the max horsepower you can get out of the 900 ACE engine?

Nice project. Curious about only 51 mph versus amount of work required for retro-fit. Will you pick-up more speed with a taller impeller?

I see that one of the big pros is excellent fuel mileage, but since a bone stock SXR 800 does 49/50mph...

I know the x3 puts down about 175 hp but it's also turbo.
I need to get the right prop before I really know it's full potential.
This thing has enough power it makes my arms and shoulders hurt the next day like never before.

Reviving an old thread.
I have 88 hours on my swap. Figured out my speed/rpm problem. I went with a totally different impeller and now I'm hitting 57.5 mph. I could still climb another 300 rpm too!
This things an animal now. Not quite sxr1500 level but if the 2021 superjet is going tr-1 I will be faster and lighter than that thing.

You must have dropped the pitch on that 14/23 Impeller to something like a 14/19 which will give you about 57 mph at around 7300 rpm?

57+mph is very respectable on a reliable pump gas setup. Nice work.
