New guy looking for my first stand up/watercraft

Hello, I'm researching so I can purchase my first stand up/pwc/watercraft. I'm looking for either a new or lightly used SXR or Superjet. That's the tough choice. I have ridden 2 stand ups before that was 20 and 10 years ago. I'm mid 30's now. So no stand up experience. I do have a motorcycle, snowmobile and have ridden a snowbike before. Not sure if that stuff will help out but thats the experience I have. I'm going to be using it mostly in the ocean in Vancouver. Some lakes here and there. So I'm off to research now.

Yes welcome! I have a 2014 Superjet and friend of mine just bought a 08 SXR 800 this past summer. Both skis are awesome but one thing I noticed is a wider foot tray with the SXR 800(may be something to consider). Do your homework and test ride them if you know anyone in your area with stand ups. This site has TONS on great information!

Thanks guys. Yes lots of reaserch at this point. It's mostly going to be used t have fun and cruise around. It would be a lot easier if I could ride/look at one. The market is so small I'm Canada. It's tough to find one to even look at. Cheers

Looking at the Boat show line up there is no Kawasaki listed. Seadoo and Yamaha will be there. I'll be going to the motorcycle show as well so hopefully there is an SRX there.

Well Kawasaki was not at the boat show. I ended up going for a Seadoo GTI for my first PWC. 5 year warranty and trailer thrown in.

Its coming sometime around the end of February or early March. It still has to come from Quebec.
