    Polaris hurricane

    I have a prob with my cane what battery's do you all use I bought the ski a few months back I have rebuilt the engine and sorted out the electrics.My prob now is when I go to start it the battery voltage drops from 12.6 down to 10.2 and its to week a spark to let it start if I connect it on to my booster pack it stays above 12v and starts no probs is this a bad battery or something else drawing the power down

    Its either the battery or the starter. Get the battery load tested first.

    Yeah, bad battery. You answered your own question.

    When you buy a new battery, pay attention to the cold cranking amps. Higher amperage batteries really are worth the extra money. Are you in Glasgow Scotland? In the US, it's all pretty easy. I order from Amazon from Chrome Batteries. I just got a new one for my Genesis. Haven't installed it yet, but used it to jump start my car yesterday, twice. Should be strong enough for the ski.
