    This mod will be a huge help to anyone (me) that has to work on the head with ski not at a shop, garage, etc.

    I keep mine on a lift in Florida, but have no shop to work in there. To be able to yank the head without pulling the motor out will be a big help!

    you only need to do one side , the one located on exhaust manifold side , once the stud is off flip the bracket up and the other side will escape easily. that does not work on fx models, oil breather hose fitting is different, you have to remove both sides. i dont take engine or oil tank out when i remove heads on these vx models and sometimes i do 2 or 3 a week,doing many many valve jobs on these.
