Stock Big Pin Cylinders are #24 and #29. That feed line to the pipe is kinked. The pipe will overheat and burn up all that fresh paint.

I know it is, I'm not leaving it like that. I'm using a different fitting on the head, which I'm getting today.

What is your engine rpm goal?

Your original cylinder had 178 degrees of exhaust port timing. How much does
the new cylinder have? Big pin cylinders will have 186 or 192 degrees depending
on your ID mark? The stock BP mark should be a 22 or 24.

The engine rpm goal is based on the pipe and exhaust port timing.

Is that a composite head gasket I see? Is there a step between the head gasket
surface and the combustion chambers? Stock heads were ~.010"

What is the current compression? Do you know how many cc's the head is?

What impeller are you using? Exit nozzle diameter?
PJS pump nozzle ? big fat aluminum casting with ~80, 83, or 86mm diameter.

What oil ratio do you normally use and which brand oil do you use?

-Rode this ski a few hours before a stator went out on a single carb setup. Crank was trash. Everything during the ride was fine. Wade Chapin here in Sarasota helped me with jetting and steered me in the right direction for the build based off the extra parts I had. He's a former pro racer and our local guru.

-No RPM goal. It doesn't bounce off the limiter WOT.

-No idea on timing. I can ask Wade later.

    -Metal head gasket

-Unsure of the pump setup. I believe it's all stock, but my spare I planned on putting in has a Solas prop and I will be using an OP steer nozzle.

-180psi in each cylinder. I think the domes are over 30cc

    Nice pic, looks awesome!

How did your jetting work out?
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Pretty much spot on. Wade Chapin is the man. Slightly rich for the break in. Ran great.

And to think this is how this ski started. With all my buying and selling I've done recently I'm probably only $300 out of pocket at most for this build. It's turned out great and been an awesome learning experience. Now it's just all down to tray time!
