Yea you cant go wrong with the Jet trim. In my opinion, the heel lifters on the side tray mats are as important as sponsons, HA.

Thanks Frank, adding Prowatercraft sponsons and Waterdawg hull extensions over the winter. That should make this ski complete.

Improve bottom end throttle response with ignition advance plate.

Improve rough water hook up with pump stuffer and big hub impeller.

Improve handling with front sponsons and rear hull extensions.

With that kind of money spent, I should just sell and get an SXR. Definitely going to get JetTrim, and maybe some front sponsons. Otherwise, it's done.

I have an R&D ignition advance plate if you were heading that direction.
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Reviving the thread... A lot has changed.

New crank, 1mm overbore big pin cylinder, dual SBN44 on an R&D intake, Vforce Carbon v3 reeds, full motor rebuild, new everything, PJS pump nozzle, painted, dual blowsion F/A's, lightening the flywheel as soon as I can pass it off to a buddy of mine ... Excited to get her in the water. More pics and a video or 2 when she's all up and running.

Test and tune coming up soon I hope, depending on how work goes. Dual SBN44 on R&D intake w/ carbon vforce3 reeds, 100 high and 110 low jetting... we'll see.

Re: What else to do?? 750sx

How much time do you have on this current set-up? If none, how do you know
that it isn't going to blow up on a long wot pass?

What is your engine rpm goal?

Your original cylinder had 178 degrees of exhaust port timing. How much does
the new cylinder have? Big pin cylinders will have 186 or 192 degrees depending
on your ID mark? The stock BP mark should be a 22 or 24.

The engine rpm goal is based on the pipe and exhaust port timing.

Is that a composite head gasket I see? Is there a step between the head gasket
surface and the combustion chambers? Stock heads were ~.010"

What is the current compression? Do you know how many cc's the head is?

What impeller are you using? Exit nozzle diameter?
PJS pump nozzle ? big fat aluminum casting with ~80, 83, or 86mm diameter.

    Bill M.

What oil ratio do you normally use and which brand oil do you use?

Horsepower == Speed, RPM != Speed
