When is a restricter in return line needed js550

I switched the round body carb on js550 ....to a sbn carb....I believe I don't need a restricted in the return line for these carbs.....am I right

I also just bypassed the return line from Rev limiter solenoid . ...and just went straight to tank

You can remove the Rev limiter all together. The SBN carbs don't have provisions for it to work properly especially if you ran the output to the tank anyway. The SBN carbs have a restrictor built in.
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

To answer "when is a restrictor needed in the return line" you need a restrictor only when you're using the stock bn44 roundbody carb with the rev limiter removed. The rev limiter is the restrictor for the bn44.if you remove the rev limiter then it need a restrictor.

You dont need a restrictor In the return line with an sbn
