    Grips for 7/8 Bars

This is kind of a silly question, but I canít seem to find an answer. I just put new bars on my x2 and Iím looking for new grips. The majority of the mx grips have a rift and left with bigger hole for the left. Do people buy two pairs or will standard mx grips work?

If you want a style only found in mx grips, then yes you will need two sets. If you buy atv grips they will both be 7/8" size. I like the ODI grips because they lock on with clamps on the end. When they need replaced you do not have any glue or scraping involved.

I shop bicycle stores, Mountain bikes have 7/8" bars also and many grip choices.
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

I second the ODI lock on grips. I like the ruffian model
because they have a slimmer feel. That's all that goes on
everything I own now, MX, BMX, ATV, PWC. Easy install and
easy to remove if you need to change bars, levers, ect. Well
    worth the extra money IMO.

1986 JS300; lots of mods, fast for a 300...I think

1987 X2: Rips pretty good and has some 80's flare.

I like the Odi Rogue model because they are slightly larger in diameter than the Ruffians for bigger hands. Odi lock ones are the best grips I’ve ever used on a PWC.

I run odi lock ons also.

If you want mx grips, just buy atv grips. No twist throttle, no bigger grip. They come in the same patterns as bike grips.
I'm only here to make you mad

I'll tell your girl you said "hi".
