Re: Riding technique on JS hulls

all the stuff you can do to the ski will never make up for tray time. they only way to learn is to ride more. sure tubbies, more power, longer ride plates help, but nothing helps more than more tray time. the ski in the first video didnt look to have tons of power. just smooth water conditions and someone that knows how to ride is all it takes.

Cheeseburger, medium rare, fully loaded. 2 Jack and cokes and a gatorade bottle full of vodka and water. Recipe for JS success.

Disclaimer: please wait at least 45 minutes after eating said burger. No one wants to ride in your poop.

ProWatercraft Front Sponsons would help you in the corners tremendously.

Re: Riding technique on JS hulls

First things first, you will need tray time. They best thing you could do on a jetski is ride. Sponsons only can do so much, you will need to learn how to ride.

Next, line choice. Do not try and square up the corners and throw yourself into the corner, flow is key.

    Last, get some ProWatercraft Sponsons.

    OMG, another superjet junky! Lol

I've ridden several and I'm not impressed. Sure, they corner well and the JS hull take a lot of tray time to master, but that's the point,... Tray time is key! And not being afraid of being thrown like a lag doll from time to time.

Crashing is part of the Gig!
If you're not crashing, then you're not trying!!!

i've never owned super jet , too boring for me, i have owned a JS 'what a POS' i tried everything to make that shyt box a good ski .. got an old beater 650 SX and never looked back ,it was the combination of the hard to get to carve JS hull with a stable predictable ride 'also a great surf ski , i suppose the OP can persevere with the POS JS hull , spend shyt load on performance parts, it will still be a pig, as the saying goes >> you can put a fur coat on a pig but it will always be a pig ...OP take a good look at the vid , that ski is hotted up big time and would take the rider years of tray time to get a feel for what that thing would be capable of ..
