I second what Bandit is saying. Those cranks seals need to be replaced if it sat for years.

And I third it. Replace crank seals and ditch the oil injection for sure.

Pulled the motor out of the ski with issues.
Removed the crankcase drain valve. Heaps of 2S oil came out, I'd say nearly 250ml.
Drilled the holes in the casing out to size, tapped them, and fitted 1/8" npt bungs.
Also removed the oil pump on the front of the motor and fitted a blanking plate there.

Just need to look at the fueling side of things as it wasn't getting any fuel through.

Carb is a write off. Going to get a good secondhand carb. Carb kit alone is $140, then there's the vapour blasting as I don't think a good soaking will do anything, and the broken screws as well.
I can get a used carb off a good runner for $100.
Makes more sense to bin it and get another

either way you will still need to buy a rebuilt kit. They are only like $20 for aftermarket or $50 for oem(which I recommend), then needles and seat if needed which is most likely $20. I'd put it in a bucket full of diesel for a couple of days, then have a good look at it, full disassemble, clean it, check all passages, and rebuild...You'd be surprised how those things can come back to life... I've had ones look like that, the side you posted pic of usually gets the worst of it

I wish we had those US prices here. In NZ the aftermarket kits are $140. OEM are moonbeams and not even worth considering.
This pos has too any broken screws plus all the corrosion anyway. Really can't see the point in spending too much on it plus my time.

Don't you have Ebay there? I'm in Canada and I order parts from the USA on eBay... Also lots of guys on here selling quality new part that I'm sure would send them to you. I've sold parts all over the world for the same price with extra cost for shipping

I will check that out, but I normally like to support local business.
