I can rotate the outlet to make it parallel with the hull but the transom on a B2 is convex, not flat like a B1

Yea ,I remember rotating the outlet till it was flush as possible to transom. My screw holes are in the same pattern orientation as yours, maybe I just got lucky. Did some GPS testing last weekend on the B2 1200. Got 53 mph at 6350 rpm (needs to be 6800-7000). 15/20 small hub swirl prop with Riva scoop grate and Ocean Pro ride plate. Still needs some dialing in, but it is MUCH more fun than with the 760.

Just put a piece of turf down. The hoses hold it in place pretty tight.

The bed plates are almost complete, just have to line up the engine and drill the holes for the motor mounts.

Re: WaveBlaster II 1200 Conversion Build

Don't think I replied correctly lol. But so my mechanic is helping me take the outlet and inlet off gp1200 waterbox and welding it to my WB2 TDR-P box so I won't have to get another box. Also, what midshaft is best, 701 or gp760 (heard 701 recommended). For prop was thinking about 13/19/ but talked to Dave from extreme throttle and he said his 1100 triple B2 had an 11/19. Then reading here I see different recommendations so what worked for you guys?

Dave knows his stuff. He helped us through out build. Picked up the 14/20 for cheap, but is a little too much pitch for the b2 hull. Gp 760 mid shaft is the best. Sets the engine back to the furthest

    X2 on the GP760 midshaft.

Picture of the mock up motor installed with the GP760 midshaft and 98 XL1200 exhaust hose.
If you can find one the 98 XL1200 stinger to water box exhaust hose fits way better than a Raider 1100 or GP1200 hose becuase the bend in the XL hose lines up better with the hole in the bulkhead.
