Yamaha 3 cylinder 2016 TR1 4 stroke oil change capacity?

Owners manual shows capacity without filter 3.38 Qts - With filter 3.59 Qts and total capacity 3.91 Qts
Also the Yamaha oil change kit specifically for the TR1 motor contains 4 qts oil and filter

With siphon in fill / dipstick hole I only get about 2 qts - I also removed a bolt in bottom rear of oil pan and got maybe another half Qt even with nose of ski tilted up.

Am I missing a correct way to get all the oil out or do I have to live with changing 2/3 the oil each time - And if so why would the owners manual show 3.6 qts and kit include 4 qts when it's darn near impossible to get 3 qts out - Is this Yamaha's idea of a practical joke?

I have seen others post regards only being able to change half the oil in 4 strokes but when owners manual clearly has 3.59 qts I thought the TR1 might be different and actually yield more than 3 qts with filter change?

What do you think happens to all the clamps when you use it in saltwater ?? Un f ucking believeable that anybody would even buy such junk.

There is a hose with a plug in it that you siphon the oil out of. When checking the oil you screw the dipstick in then remove it. You also need to poke a hole in the oil filter and let it drain before removal.

Thanks - found the hose that leads to bottom of crankcase / oil sump - posting pic for others in future as owners manual is no help - good tip re poking hole in oil filter, should save a lot of paper towels, maybe even a small tree - still disappointed I could only get less than 3 qts out of it - I know it was full as I checked it while at operating temp while level in water last few times I used it.

Thanks for the words of encouragement - I bought and sold a few Seadoo 4 strokes before deciding this Yamaha might be a keeper - Hope I was not wrong - If so I could always re possess the 05 STX 900 from my son or maybe buy back the 99 XL760! - I use in fresh water only and have a large box of stainless clamps from the myriad of skis I have parted

I've owned an ultra 150 - Gp1300R - RXP 215 and had some fun going fast - The RXP was a hoot - In the case of the V1 just looking for something simpler and hopefully long lasting.

I’m changing the oil now in my TR one motors. Where do I properly at the oil to make sure it’s going in the right spot? Through the dipstick hole for the tube shown in the post above?

Well I was able to get almost 3qts total (from tube and dipstick combined)

I put about 2 quarts into dip stock hole and the oil is at the top. Will it slowly gravity feed down?

I started it and the level dropped off.
