    Been awhile

Guys, its been awhile since i assembled a 787 engine. I cannot remember which base gasket to use. Ive got 3 gaskets, all 3 have 6 holes punched. One is thicker, one is thinner, one has a red oring type seal around it.

Are they all the same brand? WSM or OEM? I can't tell you about any 787 RFI, but your standard carb'd 787 normally takes a plain gasket. If you have a set of dial calipers, you may want to measure the thickness as each hole should represent .1 mm IIRC.

They all came in same top end kit. There all 6 hole punched.

    1x 6 hole punch thinner
    1x 6 hole punch thicker
1x 6 hole punch with red rubber oring printed on it

I dont know which to use on stock 787

Best way to determine is to check squish.
I usually use the gasket provided in the WSM kits I usually buy. Not sure what thicknesses that is.
