    Newbie with a $150 xp

Hi there been reading the fourm as a guest for 2 weeks now. I purchased my first seadoo recently, it is curently not runing as the previous owner left it out at a public camp site and some one stole the electrical box, other then that its got good compression and has been garage kept. I look forward to fixing this beast and joining all those people out on the lake having too much fun!

If any one has one of these any chance you could post some pics of the electrical box location? And am i correct in thinking all the electronics are housed in the one white box that should be up front? Any one do stand alone kits like an msd for a sled or bike?

Re: Newbie with a $150 xp

It is a 650 i think. iv just moved it out of the barn and into the shop to start playing with it. Does any one know if i can pull a complete electrical box from a difrent year and use it? Or can i buy an aftermarket stand alone ignition for it? From looking over the wiring iv considered trying to use something from an older car like a duraspark but im unsure if it will trigger properly from the stator. Any one have any thoughts?

You should be able to find one pretty easily if you post in the WTB section.
