Sxr handle pole spring & bushing upgrade

Added blowsion handle pole pivot bushings & spring to my stock 03 sxr. Pole was 6 lbs at ride hight and had 3/4 inch side to side movement before. Now side to side is gone and neutral lift. Love it. New spring angle is a little off but works great.

Now what to do with the handle pole while trailering it to the lake, do I tie it down putting extra stress on the spring or leave it free to bounce in the wind?

I use a bungee around one side of the bars hooked under the rub rail.

Tie it down, the stress on the spring will be minimal, the damage of a bouncing pole is to be avoided.
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Ok, no erect pole during towing, I will keep it under wraps.
