Re: VX 110 Problem MAX 7200 RPM not easy to solve

i have checked compression and they are all the same for the 4 cyclinders about 130 Psi. I know it is not enough (mini=162Psi) but i think my gauge is not very precise.
I have check the valve clearance in june and the clearance was perfect.
    No engine rebuilt.
I think the problem was the ECU. Because 250h and only 0.08h between 8000 and 10000RPM controled by YDS.
I found that my VX was a 75kw=101HP on my document and the ECU is a 6D3-B0 witch is not sell in US.
Normally for my VX the ECU is 6D3-A0 and with this ECU the document indicate 81kw=110HP.
i think for restricting the power on this machine they limitate the RPM max, only in Europe.

Re: VX 110 Problem MAX 7200 RPM not easy to solve

Ok i received the new ECU and try it in my garden.
It is working. I checked with YDS and it has only 199.5 hours but 7.31 hours between 8000 and 10000 RPM. Mine has only 0.08 hours with 250 hours !!!
I will try it in the water next week.

Re: VX 110 Problem MAX 7200 RPM not easy to solve

Yes thank you for your interest. The story is not finish !!
I tested the ECU bought on ebay and the vx worked very bad between 2500 and 4000 RPM with a lot of smoke. And the motor stop by itself.
The ECU has a problem. I asked the seller if i can send him back because it wasn't working good. He said NO. F.....r
So i extract the program in the bad ECU. But when i tried to write the same program in the bad ECU the checksum was not good of course.

And here is the bad program that i extract from my ECU. So now my ECU is totaly empty.

If somebody can correct the file or send me a good working one for a 6D3-A0, i will be very happy
I looked on the net to find this program origine but i didn't find it. Thank you for your help !!
    Best regard's

Well i removed my gas pump because i was not sure of the pressure regulator and i took some pictures of this job. if you want to see how is a pump in your vx take a look to the pictures. It is not very difficult to do but you have to take your time to do this because of the plastic. You can see the pressure regulator on the last picture. I ordered a new one for trying if it is not his fault. But it looks in very good shape. I will also change the pump and the filter.
