    Kawasaki 650 Flywheel Puller Recommendation

I have a puller I have used for years on my Yamaha motors but it doesn't work worth a damn on a Kawasaki 650 flywheel. The one I have boogers up the front of the crankshaft. Can someone post a pic or a link to a good puller for the 650?

also on a 650 whatever puller you use yo need to put a nut or a small spacer between the puller bolt and the flywheel, whatever you use needs to be slightly smaller than the end of the crankshaft, that way it does not damage the crank.

I've used the stock flywheel bolt as a landing point for my harmonic balancer puller, just leave it 4-5 threads from touching the face of the flywheel.
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

I bought the universal pwc flywheel puller kit on ebay for $15 or something like that and have been MORE than happy with it

Re: Kawasaki 650 Flywheel Puller Recommendation

The ebay flywheel puller referenced below says that it has sufficient holes so as to be "universal" such that it will work for both Yamaha and Kawasaki.

And although the Yamaha flywheel lock is referenced in the thread above, Cold Fusion makes and sells (and Blowsion sells) a flywheel holder specifically made for Kawasaki.

MrRogue: Even I can deduce function from the form of this tool. And it is frickin' awesome with the Rockwell hardness quoted. But is it really $500?

    I cannot justify that price.

But my guess is that you could own the market at half that price if you were to take pre-paid orders for a high volume production run...

    Just sayin'.

P.S. thanks to the linkman for posting this puller.
