Sorry for the delayed response. I do not read / post here much any more due to drama.....

I know you called me directly at the shop for your answer, but I will post for others to see.

On a Yamaha 1100, you can blow all the water out of the engine / lines with an air compressor through the lines coming from the head to exhaust pipe. This will blow down and out backwards. Be sure to do this while the engine is running, as you want to be sure to not get any water back into the engine internals.

First, I add fuel stabilizer to the gas, to protect the fuel. I recommend storing your tank full.
Next, run the machine to get stabilizer through the fuel system.
Blow out cooling system with air compressor while engine is running.
Kill engine with fogging oil sprayed into the carbs.
Pull spark plugs, spray fogging oil into each cylinder, and turn engine over to disperse oil.
Grease all grease fittings on drive line, grease cables, trailer etc.
Pull the battery, charge, and store in a safe place.

Give your machine a good wash / cleaning. Look for any problems you may want to address before the next season.

You are now good to store for the off season.
