Still standin and bandit88 are correct, the proper bolt is a 10mm 1.25 pitch and for the 1986-1988 exhaust maniforld with the closed-end (i.e., blind) bolt holes you better be spot on with your length estimate, otherwise you are going to strip them when they hit bottom of the hole and you keep tightening.

The Rad Dudes guy has the proper bolts in socket head stainless and he is is very, very, very helpful:

For my application he suggested that I go with a stainless steel hex cap bolts from ARP-bolts.com because they come in shorter lengths with a hex cap which will work better under the pisser port on the particular stainless steel exhaust pipe we have.

I ordered a 1989 and up style 650cc exhaust manifold and will order the proper bolts for it and will install it when and if I pull the engine to do crank seals.

In the interim, I am going to run a 10mm 1.50 tap down the three pipe to head bolt holes on the existing partially stripped 1988 style exhaust manifold and just use hardened 10mm 1.50 pitch bolts.

I am pretty impressed with most of the work on this ski, but this two of the three bolts are the incorrect 1.5 pitch and one is the correct but stripped 1.25 pitch was bs work done by a prior owner. All he needed to do was to cut short the oem bolts when he put the shorter shoulder stainless steel after market pipe on, and everything would've been good...
