Re: 2002 ultra 150 dies after 10 sec

    Another thing a remembered.

When I sealed the crankcase I didn't put 20ml of oil in the rear balancer room. Could this be the issue? And can I inject those 20ml through the rear oil check valve afterwards? Or do I need to split the crankcase for that? (I did remember the 200ml in the magneto case)

I dont think it could cause an issue this quickly, especially since e erything back there still gets some oil. Yes, you can inject it through the checkvalve. I use a livestock syringe with a piece of tubing attached.

Just open the cover on the rear bearing for the balancer and pour right in

    thanks!

So what else could cause this problem?

I've ordered new spark plugs, but I doubt it will make any change, just want to take it out of the equation.

    What else can I check?

I believe so, the shortest to the closest and the longest to the one most far away. How else can I check if they are right?

Could it be the pilot screw on the carbs?
I can see the screw heads and I'm definitely not the first to tamper with them as they have worn marks. But they don't really explain the low top end...
