    "Beaching" on a Mat

I was thinking about getting one of those foam mat-style pool floats, and keeping it on the beach where I ride, so when I want to take a break, I can put my JS550 on it. I'm talking about one of those ones that are ~1" thick, maybe a little more. Anyone tried it before? It's a little rocky where I ride, and I don't want it sitting on the rocks, not to mention I'd have to stick my hand into the nozzle to clean out whatever sand gets in there. Any thoughts?

what ^^^ he said ,cost is cheap and easy to make ,all the parts and glue come from plumbing supply guy gave me the pipe , the Ts and bends were about 4 bucks each cost was all up around $30 , you can make them so as you can pull them apart for transporting , i filled the PVC pipe with quick set concrete so it does not float away ,i also cable tied some old carpet to mine , its not pretty but it is practical,

I've thought about doing something like this so that I could keep the jetski "beached" out on the water by the other boats. Seems to me like it would work but I never have pulled the trigger.

The original is called a Lilly pad, others have come to market with many names: waterpad, water mat, aqua pad, etc.

There are a bunch of them available. Friggin' expensive for a piece of foam with a grommet or two.
