Swapping Oli Tanks in a 1999 GSX RFI

Hey all. Swapping the oil tank in my wife's GSX RFI. Do I need to remove the exhaust? If so, can I get away with just removing the expansion chamber?

    Thanks in advance

No need to remove the exhaust. The oil tank comes out towards the front of the Seadoo.
drain all of the oil out of it, disconnect the hoses, disconnect the level sensor, disconnect the 3 straps, then it will slide right out towards the front.
the oil tanks on these SeaDoo are notorious for failing after about 10+ years. The seam either splits, or the tanks crack somewhere.

    Great news.

Yes, that is why I am swapping it out. It is leaking at the seam. I purchased one out of a 96 with no seam. This is my project for today.
