funny you mention that i did have the hose from the pipe to the water box blow out a few rides ago. on that day there was a super long no wake zone to get to the main channel of the lake and the last ride heading back to the ramp as soon as we got out of the no wake zone, the hose blew haha. which at idle or just off idle its not open. i have a dedicated line to the pipe on my ski already so having enough pressure to open the valve generally isnt an issue. i have it pretty loose too and you can actually hear the valve open and let water through. i did make one adjustment on it opening it a little sooner and seemed to pick up a little acceleration on the bottom.

Good jub on the pipe mod, looks great and the 2" angled end is a nice touch.
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

    Thanks man!

Since I did the pipe mod i decided just to see if it would make any difference to put the stock pump cone back on from the jrd stubby cone i had.. Wow what a difference that made. i really like the 18/22 so far and running a 69mm bored stock nozzle. it has pretty solid bottom end as well. I was out riding with 2 buddies that both have sxrs. one is completely stock, the other is modded to what ever is legal to run in stock class racing. includes flame arrestors, rejetted carbs, dried out stock pipe, some impeller work. we all did a drag race from no wake zone speed for a solid 30 secs and i pulled several boat lengths on both of them. i believe they go 47-48 stock according to group k. It has to be all over 49-50mph. I did find a gps app on the phone so ill try to gps next time i go ride. low speed 180s and stabs are really easy now and it jumps wake to wake behind boats with ease. I have a video a friend made of several of us behind a chapparel what threw up a nice wake for us. this was just before i did the work to the pipe. https://www.facebook.com/travis.clark.56/videos/10210942270055270/
