    Re: F12x turbo return lines

I put a 1/8" pipe tee and put the sensor on the end and a gauge on the tee. It runs about 43psi but you'll see it higher when cold.

What exactly are you trying to do? If you're just nervous about getting enough oil to the turbo, as long as there is oil coming out of the line and it's not just a little dribble you're fine. Most ball bearing/ceramic turbos have a .040" or similar restriction in the line to prevent too much oil pressure which pushes oil into the compressor side of the turbo and makes a smoky mess in the exhaust pipe. If the engine is running and your not getting a low oil pressure warning, and you've cleaned the turbo screen, you're good.

Well, I'm gonna flush it and put in some fresh oil and call it fixed. Maybe Saturday if it doesn't rain. Thanks for the info.

Yes, that's idle pressure. The only reason I put a gauge on was because when I rebuilt the engine, I wanted to know the pressure.

Well I changed out the waste gate and turbo, seems to be running good now. I will try to water test it next weekend or maybe this week but a tropical system is headed our way.

I wonder how it would run with your old turbo after all the other repairs
