More brackets while waiting for driveline.
This one strengthens the rear where I cut out for the nozzle...and....clamps the Turf underneath the deck.



When the driveline is in, I will do a walk-around video before I put the top piece of the hull on. I will probably have it running before top half, also.
I need to check how the IBR works the nozzle...it may need some major adjusting?! Minor adjusting, I could do at the nozzle.

Finally!



This coming weekend is the DirtTricks Invitational ride, But the next weekend...could be the water test!
Really the only thing left is to extend a few plugs on the wiring harness up the handlepole.

Like I said, Ill do a few more pics and a video before putting the top half on.

Very nice! Is that shaft a 3 piece that you threaded the spark ends into to extend it? For wiring, are you just going to cut/splice in extensions? I just ordered my controls for 7/8 bars and was thinking that I need to do the same thing.

I got tired of waiting on machine shops to get back to me. So I just made it myself.
4130 .125 wall chromoly ID was .883. I cut a OEM driveshaft in half, lathed down 4" on each piece to .887, used a 50ton press and pressed it together. It was a little scary...took a good 40 of the 50 tons to do it...lol. It came out dead nutz straight! I will weld the shoulders and DirtTricks will put a coating on it for corrosion protection. This should be well enough for a 120hp Spark motor.
Wires will be carfully spliced ...don't know what length yet

Awesome project! Why not source OEM connectors and just fab some pigtail extensions for handlepole section of harness? Would keep it plug n play if harness ever needed replacing, pole could be removed without pulling harness... I dunno. Just a suggestion. Looking forward to the ride report ��

Assembly time...but can I get it done by the weekend on 3hrs a night?

It's a extra heavy version of what's on a grade 8 bolt. I can't remember what they called it? Lol
It's not corrosion proof....just corrosion resistant

How come nothings getting done??
Well, I had to build another race ski for Zack...this time an SXR. So the ACE900 got put on hold for a couple weeks.
He bought this about a month ago...



Now its this.....





Back to work on the project now. Should have it running by the end of the week.

Yep, my garage is a crapfest right now! Lol

For some reason I can't seem to post a YouTube video. I loaded a walk around video of the ski on to my youtube account. But whenever I try and do a link to it, at says for "404 not found"?
