Re: which parts to use on 550

I think I can deal with keeping battery charged....if it will last 2-3 tanks of running....

I'll keep it on a charger in between rides.....

But I don't like this switch to turn off thing,or it burns up coil....lol...do I have that system,or not....I want the lighter flywheel for doning stunts and just playing in cove

Re: which parts to use on 550

I've been googling for paper work ,can't find any....but I think this has a auto cut on and off...so don't need a switch

I seems some people like the torque for bolt is best at 80lbs on aluminum....instead of 110 for a stock...and others want it highter...wish I had some instructions from Jetinetics....ill try to get ahold of Robert.....I see msd likes to heat up first.....and clay method to check clearance for charging plate

if that is a programmable total loss meaning you can program it to have full timing advance at idle and pick the rpm and how much to retard the timing to eliminate detonation then its worth running. otherwise an aluminum flywheel or a lightened stock will be a nice improvement over stock. the advanced timing at idle will increase your bottom end torque by a lot. many racers would run lots of port timing to get the rpms, and lots of compression to help the bottom end torque loss with the high port timing and a programmable total loss to get the low rpm acceleration back without loosing any rpms on the top.

Thanks man....it's not programmable....but I guess I can just run it....i believe you can't run the real light total loss flywheels, with stock stator....i think you have to use the "heat" system with it

I'm not going to ever sell one of these....no one will know how to put it together.....can't put anyone in that situation

...plus I'm not selling it so it just sits around someone's house.....never being used, cause it's obvious no one knows how to install it

if i figure it out.....ill make a how to video to help others down the road
