    Pictures of Half Assed Ski Repairs - Let's See 'Em

    I could not find a thread on this topic so I started a new one. I pulled the engine out of an old Kawasaki TS and someone before me used an air line hose coupler fitting to connect the flush kit hose to the cylinder head.

    Yeah, there are no rules on NPT fittings!

    My favorite: "deleted oil pump, for premix" = cut the lines and let the oil pump push oil straight into the bilge

    I don't think that fitting works at all. The flush kit hose is 1/2" diameter and the end of the air line coupler is 1/4". Not a lot of water is going to flow through that restriction.

    Head bolts on a kawi 1500... if it doesn't grip, use silicone... pffft!

    No pics right now but the most typical one I've seen is SAE steel bolts/ nuts installed. Usually rusted to death and threads that are trashed.

    i always use air line hose for my flush...whats the issue? I have a small coil hose I modded to fit

    How do you get it to mot leak? I figured the QD coupler would leak
