My new SXR 1500 ~ maximum load... Really?!?

Directly from the owners manual from my new SXR1500; Loading/Accessories/Modifications

"Maximum load: 75 KG (165 lb) including rider and luggage"

    Uh, really?

It also states: "Incorrect loading, overloading, use of accessories and/or modifications of your watercraft may affect its stability and handling and result in an unsafe riding condition. Before you ride the watercraft, make sure it is not overloaded and that you have followed these instructions."

    LOL, this is really unbelievable.

The average person in Japan probably weighs less that that. I doubt the ultra owner manual said that?

It will be interesting to see if Kawasaki ever warrants ONE claim.

Slim fast all around!!!!! You fat bastids!!!!!!

Any idea what the 800 "limit" is? I'm 6'3 and after a good sh!t, about 200lbs. Even my 300's can get on plane. (not very exciting, but......) 550, 650 X2's, 750's, and all my 800's can pull it. Guess it's a case of CYA, huh? When that 4 croak pukes, they have a way out.....

Funny how a 20 foot long, 1000lb sit up/stand down ski is only rated at that.

Ya', I always considered myself kinda slim at 6' tall around 180 to 185. I'm sure the Kawi lawyers are just giving corporate a way out. But DAMMM
