For sale, 1999 785 pro in great condition.

Guys, I have a 1999 785 pro in great condition. I bought it from a family friend, but it's way too fast for me, I just want a runabout waverunner. It's listed on craigslist in Milwaukee, Madison and NW burbs of Chicago. It's currently located at a PwC shop in Delavan and can be test driven, it's wicked fast. Trailer is negotiable. $2000. It works great. I've learned it's a specialized PWC which is why I am posting here. It's a one of kind, and it works great.

Guys, can I get a reality check?

I am not a PWC guy and bought this last year. Rode it twice. Previous owner had it rebuilt. To my eyes, it's in great condition mechanically. The out side of the boat looks like it's been used, but the thing is just too fast for me. It's not what I am looking for.

I feel like an analogy might explain where I think I am, you guys can advise me. I feel like I am sitting on a 74 Mustang with the 302 V8 in excellent condition. It's a real treat for Mustang folks. That's what it feels like. Not everyone will want this Polaris 785 Pro, but people who know the 785 would LOVE it and it's ready to go. It's not broken and from my perspective it does not need anything. The guy who stored it said it might need a new battery. I am not sure about that because the last guy put a lithium one in before he sold it to me.

Am off base here? I don't think $2000 is bad considering I've seen others for $2,800 and they need work. This thing can be driven today.

$2000 is a good price for a clean running Pro. Just not many Polaris fans here. Put it up on Greenhulk.

I am assuming this sold? Can't find it on Craigslist anymore.
