What to know before buying an S4

    G'day!

There is a 2008 750 S4 for sale a couple hours away from me. Looks pretty clean. What are some questions I should ask? Anything to look out for? Don't know too much about these Ski's so any info is helpful.

    Thanks!

Should probably buy a new sx-r 1500 instead.

stay away from them. speaking from personal experience. Parts are hard to find and very expensive when you do find them. Ride time vs wrenching time is not worth the ownership. If you really want a four stroke I would just save for the new Kawasaki.

Hydrospace= problems. it's not a boat you can just drop in the water and ride.....

Hydro's are great ski's if you have any type of mechanical skills. I rode my limited for four years on the same motor, no problems. Rebuilt it to see if it looked good. Could have ran a few more. Change oil, check valve clearances every few rides, put gas in and ride the **** out of it.
