    polaris msx 140 center cylinder failure pics need help diagnosing

    it's usually the fuel pump regulator that falls off and causes low fuel pressure and then the ski starts to run lean and that starts the melt down

    Debris damage on the piston. Usually from a crank bearing disintegrating.

    that looks like my buddies pistons after he ran his ski without oil for 10 min,,,,,boom

    Whar number cyl ? I just picked up 2 one is looking like yours Iam new to these rides so iam resreching everything ill let you know what i find

    I think that all started with a mechanical failure of the lower ring. Once that ring started breaking into pieces, the schrapnel did everything else.
