    Re: 951 Rectifier regulator bypass

Um, not even close to 3 phase as far as AC. How many wires you have on a standard 110 volt outlet? 3, right? Hot, neutral, and ground. True 3 phase has 4 wires. The 3rd leg can actually be generated with a phase converter, which is either rotary or static. The difference is how you start the motor which generates the 3rd leg.
I have, do, and can build them all the time.

Maybe there is a translation error, here.
I don't have time to get into this right now. I'll look it up and see, but I think you guys are mistaken. Unless 3 phase means something different for a stator....

    I'll be black!

Aw, fuk. I forgot it's dc. Three different pick ups can "technically" be called 3 phase. Right?

3 different generation points can be called 3 phase in a dc setup. I guess it's the same, but it's not. 3 phase ac will kill you. 3 phase dc will make you shake your head. 4 wires for 3 phase ac, 3 wires for "3 phase" dc. Huh. I'd rather run with the voltage, and number of pick ups. Calling it 3 phase is bullsh!t.

I know you said carry on, but..

The 120v AC has 3 wires because of having a ground, technically 2 legs are carrying the power. In 3-phase you have 3 legs carrying the power, and a 4th wire for ground.

No actually it's AC, three hot wires, three separate interwound coils which translates into three legs, then you have a ground wire to boot, this is on all 787'S, 951's and 4 TECS. In other words yes I actually know whatdafuc I am, talking about.

Oh, man. Cheerios and bourbon. You should try it. I'd bet that honey nut cheerios and bourbon would be KILLER!!!!

WFO, I know it's ac, I misspoke on that one. That's why it'll get you! Not exactly ready to call it true 3 phase, though. Aw fuk it, who cares. As long as it runs, call it an underage girl smoking crack! That's 3 phase, right? Daddy issues, wants to be liked so she puts out, and drug abuse. See, 3 phases.

I've had the older version of this kit on my 96xp for the last several years. Works well. http://osdparts.com/index.php?main_p...ifier+external

Drinking and blogging should be illegal!!

3 Phase does not need 4 wires - each phase is 120 degrees out and the current returns on the other phases depending on where the voltage of each particular phase is. Ground is for safety and also creating other single phase supplies from a 3 phase source. The stator on a Seadoo is a 3 phase Voltage generator. The rectifier regulator rectifies AC to DC and regulates it between 13.5 and 14.5 Volts.
